Tamara is approximately a 2yr old fully vetted Calico. In December 2021, a rescuer named Hope was alerted that Tamara was living in deplorable conditions in a candy store under a train track. Her owner was evicted and gave her to the candystore. She was living in the basement among broken bottles and wood. She lived in a hole in the wall and ate out of a styrofoam cup. The store fed her only dry food and kept her as a mouser. Tamara is urgently in need of a foster or forever home. She loves head pets and seeks out affection but does not like to be picked up. She’s really depressed at the moment as she’s living in a large dog crate in Hope’s home, as Hope’s cats dont like having other pets in the home Can anyone help give this beautiful cat a happy life after all she’s been through?
