Financial donations are a simple and important way to help the cats. Money helps offset the costs of any food and supplies that aren’t donated, as well as veterinary care, prescriptions and more.

There are multiple ways to make a donation available if you wish to support our work.
One time donations and monthly donations can be made using the form below. Further down the page you should also see information for making donations using Paypal and Venmo.
If your donation is in honor of someone or in memory of someone, please provide their name. If you also provide an email address for your honoree or their family we will email a card stating you donated in their honor (the amount of your donation will not be disclosed).
K’s Kitten Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization so all monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent that IRS allows.

Offering to sponsor a cat with health issues or that is a long term guest of the rescue helps the rescue immeasurably. No amount is too small; every dollar helps to provide care and save lives. While any of our cats and kittens can be sponsored, some of the ones that would benefit the most from sponsorship are listed below.
These cats need a bit more than our usual rescue cats. Some cats need extra care coming into the rescue, needing things such as vetting. Cats and kittens with a permanent health condition may be a guest of the rescue for life, which incurs substantial expense due to the need for a lifetime of care and vetting. We would appreciate your support with these cats.

Buzz Lightyear was a bottle baby only days old when he came into rescue. This week Buzz, now about 10 weeks old, experienced sudden weight loss, a change in bowel movements and a lack of ability and will to thrive that caused great concern and prompted an unplanned visit to our vet. The Doctor did an exam and gave Buzz an enema. The Doctor was unable to successfully obtain sufficient bloodwork without causing poor Buzz even more stress so she did some imaging instead. Even with imaging the vet still isn’t exactly sure what is going on with Buzz. The vet gave Buzz IV fluids and medication and we are currently playing “wait and see”. Additional visits and GI testing will quite possibly be needed for further treatment and hopefully a diagnosis. Donations towards Buzz Lightyear’s medical treatment would be greatly appreciated.
Late in the evening on July 1, 2026 we shared a post of a request for help from within our community for a mama and her babies, a little family that would have suffered tremendously and likely perished in the record-breaking heat. That pretty mama cat didn’t ask to be outdoors and taking care of 5 newborns. She deserves better. They deserve better. That post pulled many heartstrings, including some of our own. That post received 127 reactions and was shared 77 times and prompted one person to apply to foster – within one day. We wish all posts had that level of interaction, if they did I’d be willing to hazard a guess that things would look different all around. (Before I continue I will say we did pull them in early in the morning on July 2. We had no room to do so but could not leave them out there to suffer and possibly die. They are safe. Mama was so hot and tired she didn’t move much, she leaned in for pets and her only cares were for her babies and eating. From her behavior we believe she was a pet that someone dumped.)
Back to the little family. That family of 6 will cost us at least $1,000 to care for – if they are healthy and adopted relatively quickly. K’s is a nonprofit that relies solely on the support of our community. We need you in order to do what we do. Every single one of you can help in a way that works for you. In order to continue as a rescue and get our cats adopted we need foster homes, monetary donations, donations of supplies, volunteers, people coming to events, shares on social media, business sponsorships and more. Those just learning who we are will come to know what our longtime supporters already know – that we are a little rescue with a lot of history and heart. We want to help as many kitties as we responsibly can. We cannot do that without you. A fable comes to mind.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.”
PLEASE HELP us save lives. IF NOT YOU THEN WHO?
When we have no open fosters we have to say no to many requests for help – every single day. We have no choice. We cannot help kittens without fosters. If you have ever considered fostering, now is the time you are most needed. If you say no we have to say no and then sometimes things don’t turn out great for beautiful babies that didn’t ask to be born. Fostering is more rewarding than you can imagine. It’s temporary. It costs you nothing except a little of your time and heart. Unable to foster? Please consider donating, sponsoring or volunteering.
