How You Can Support K’s Kitten Rescue
K’s Kitten Rescue, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, is run entirely by volunteers. All profit and donations go towards the care and quality of life of the cats being cared for by the rescue.
There are many ways in which you can help K’s Kitten Rescue.
Donations
Financial donations are a simple and important way to help the cats. Money helps offset the costs of any food and supplies that aren’t donated, as well as veterinary care that some cats and kittens may require before they can be adopted. There are multiple ways to donate available on our donation page if you wish to donate to support our work.
Planned Giving – If you are doing estate planning you may list K’s Kitten Rescue as a beneficiary in your will. The donation would be made when the estate is distributed.
Physical Space – K’s vision includes a physical space. If you would care to discuss an angel investment, or have a physical space that is not being used that you’re open to using for a philanthropic cause, please reach out.

Donate Supplies – There are certain supplies that are always useful. Food, toys, carriers and other items are always welcome. Supplies that we are almost always in need of include dry food, canned food, cat litter, treats, kitten milk replacement, playpens, litter boxes, carriers and weewee pads.
Walmart Spark Good Round Up
Spark Good Round Up allows K’s Kitten Rescue to receive donations from customers when shopping on Walmart.com or in the app by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar, with the amount rounded up being donated to our rescue.

If you’d like to support us in this way, sign in to your Walmart account. Once logged into your account, scroll down to Giving & Impact. Search for Ks Kitten Rescue (it may not like the apostrophe) and select us as your preferred charity. After that, whenever you shop Walmart.com or in the Walmart app you should see a box on the screen at checkout asking you if you would like to round up your purchase in support of your chosen charity K’s Kitten Rescue.

Adopt or Foster
Adopt – Adopt a pet! Obviously this is of high importance, as our goal is to find every cat a forever home. If interested in adopting please fill out the adoption application at https://bit.ly/ks-adoption-application.
Foster – If you can’t adopt then consider fostering. This is a great way to keep cats and kittens off of the streets and out of the shelters while receiving care, affection, food and socialization. Volunteer
Professional Services – Are you a veterinarian, a vet tech or a groomer? Consider donating a service!
Time – You can volunteer your time and help the cats and the rescue. We are looking for volunteers to help with adoption application review. We are looking for volunteers with experience writing grants and researching grants. We are looking for social media savvy volunteers to help with our online presence. We are also looking for volunteers to help staff events, as well as do fundraising and event planning. There are also opportunities to drive our kittens and cats to spay/neuter appointments.
